JOHN KITIME IN STUDIO RECORDING A SOLO ALBUM AWAY FROM HIS BAND THE KILIMANJARO BAND

John Kitime today began recording his first solo album. The album which will have 7 songs will be in Kihehe, English and Kiswahili being performed in a variety of styles. Explaining this, John said the album is about the experiences he has gained in performing with different bands and musicians in the last 40 years. The first song recorded today in which John played all the guitars will not have a keyboard, trying to prove a point that you can have a sweet songs without keyboards, which seem to be the standards for all the songs recently
